User Configuration - Permission

File Access Control

Files allowed to access - You can use the "files allowed to access" option to control files that you want a user to only see and access them. The permission for accessing these files will follow the permission of the virtual path where these files reside. For files not in the allowed-to-access list, the user will not see and access them, although these files may reside in the same folder as others. The file name can be UNIX shell-style wildcards. For example, if the "files allowed to access" list contains "*.exe" and "*.txt", this user will only be able to access files with extensions ".exe" and ".txt" in the FTP server. If "files allowed to access" is empty, the FTP server will skip this option.

Files denied to access - Files denied to access can be used to control files that you don't want a user to see and access. A user can not see and access files in the "files denied to access" list. For files not in the denied-to-access list, the user can still see and access them. If the "files denied to access" is empty, the FTP server will skip this option.
